Hey guys.

Finally got my scanner playing nice with OSX, which means I can upload sketchy art to my hearts content. :3

Though when i do scan in the sketchy stuff, the flaws become really, painfully apparent. Which means I'm going to nee to get some serious practice in at Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash just to get lineart I'm happy with. When I get ahold of painter and start adding colour it's going to be a whole new ballgame. xD

Also, I'm now engaged as of shortly after midnight last night, to the most wonderful man i have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Better than chocolate, better than sex, and far, far better than any of yer sparkly, angst-ridden Edward Cullens. I've found my soulmate and the man I'm going to spend the rest of my life with. <3

Ah, perfectionist issues, money worries, and all other stresses be damned - I'm happy. :3

Hiii again.

Busy browsing Deviantart fanart for my fandoms (Disgaea, Ace Attorny, Doctor Who, Digimon... even, if mostly for the hillarious paradoies, Twilight) and playing abotu with DA's new layut when I realised I should update this place.

After a long, internet-less Christmas, I have my Macbook back up and running and a ton of new artwork to put online, with new character designs, marginally cleaner sketches, better anatomy, less anime, and even some half-decent manual inking.

All of this is very awesome and I am super-mega-excited!

However...

My scanner isn't working. D=

IDK why, since it's a perfectly decent LIDE refurbish, but I blame the far-less-than-decent cable I'm stuck using.

So I'm gonna bother soem friends for some cable-shaped favours.

Until then,the art must wait. But not for long!

Alas, this journal is not about searching for artists to collab with for books, webcomics or t-shirt designs (though if you're interested... )

A while ago, I chanced pon a gallery by an artist I can't find again. They were fairly popular, so I'mma see if you guys can help out...

Her work is mostly to do with a set of robot or android characters that tend to take the form of a humanoid rabbit-looking thing. It's all soft-shaded, detailed work, and I believe the artist wasn't a native English speaker.
